In late June, a year of planning finally came together from Maeve & Craig’s big wedding day and one of the coolest wedding hashtags I have ever seen: #Craeve2016. So good.
Maeve and Craig are musicians, and in fact, Maeve has appeared in our photos before, while playing one of the many instruments with which she is proficient. Both of these two can make magic with their fingers and do so, it would seem, with just about any instrument you put in front of them. So, when the wedding day came, it was fitting to find they’d hired a band instead of a DJ, and that they’d play a song together in lieu of a first dance, and that they’d gotten a wedding pie instead of a wedding cake. (It’s my understanding that musicians prefer pies. Correct me if I’m wrong on that.)
The wedding took place in its entirety at Cylburn Arboretum in Baltimore, MD. A gorgeous venue with a wide range of architectural styles and a beautifully landscaped property. The delicious food and pies were provided by Clementine Catering, and the live music was brought by The Bachelor Boys (and sometimes Maeve & Craig themselves).
