I’m so excited to announce the launch of our new Location Discovery Tool! We’re a small team of local photographers, and I know how frankly terrible it can be trying to find a location that’s just right for a photo shoot, event, or corporate project. That’s why we’ve been putting together this directory to make the process easier for you (and us).
We’ve spent the last 6 months researching and curating a diverse collection of locations that we think will suit a wide range of needs, and building a tool to explore them. Our new directory is an ongoing project, and we’re always looking to add new locations and update existing ones with the latest information.
We’ve done our best to make the directory user-friendly and easy to navigate. You can browse through the locations based on qualities like what sort of a location it is, does it have a waterfront, is it natural setting or an urban setting, and a whole lot more. You can also see at a glance useful information such as whether a permit is required. Each location page provides detailed information about the location, including a small collection of photos, location features, and any rules or regulations you should be aware of.
I also want to be upfront with you – although we’ve done our best to provide accurate information about each location in our directory, we have no affiliation with them and cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information every time. If you find any mistakes or outdated information, please let us know so we can fix it. And, of course, when in doubt, reach out directly to the location for more clarity.
As local photographers, we’re passionate about helping our clients have an awesome session, and finding an awesome place is a big part of that. Our directory is designed to make your life easier and the process of setting up a portrait session more fun. We’re always open to feedback and suggestions for improvement, so please speak up!
